Emily Russell

Emily Russell began her work with Environmental Stewardship Concepts in September 2008 as an Environmental Science Intern and currently works as ESC’s Research Scientist. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a double Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Environmental Thought & Practice. As an undergraduate, she conducted research on sustainable communities and marine ecology during a six-month internship in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. She speaks near-fluent Spanish.

Emily provides support to ESC by researching current environmental policy issues, changes in regulation regarding ecotoxins and background information for ESC clients. She also reviews technical reports, drafts comments and travels to meet with clients.
